We promote safe, affordable housing that serves local workers, families, and the character of St. George.

We work to ensure that St. George residents have access to safe, high-quality housing that is affordable; honors the history and character of our town; and is targeted to serve current residents (e.g., St. George MSU alumni), local industries (e.g., fishing and working waterfront, trades, etc.), and critical municipal services (e.g., housing for teachers, firefighters, and EMS workers).

Programs that support this Impact Area

Brookside Housing Project

We’re developing Brookside, a 30-acre neighborhood with homes affordable for working families and rooted in the St. George community.

Hardship Assistance Fund

We provide up to $500 per household each year to help families overcome sudden financial hardships.

Heating Assistance

In partnership with the Ocean View Grange, the Community Heating Assistance program helps ensure that St. George residents have the fuel they need to stay warm and secure throughout the winter months.

Home Repair

We connect volunteer contractors with residents who need small repairs to keep their homes safe and livable.

Wood Chuckers – Wood Bank

Local volunteers cut, split, and deliver firewood to help households stay warm and safe.
