Volunteer Engagement & Empowerment

Each year, we connect more than 100 community members with meaningful opportunities to support their neighbors, respond to local needs, and help build a stronger, more connected St. George.

Through hands-on service—whether delivering firewood, assembling welcome boxes for new babies, stocking and supporting the Community Cupboard to ensure all families have access to food, assisting with outreach, or helping at community events—volunteers play a critical role in meeting essential needs. As needs continue to grow, so does our reliance on dedicated volunteers who are willing to step in and help when it matters most.

Volunteering with StGCDC is more than giving time—it’s about building relationships. In serving others, volunteers form lasting connections with one another and with the people they support, strengthening community bonds and fostering a shared sense of care, dignity, and belonging. Together, we empower neighbors to help neighbors and create lasting, community-driven change.
