The Zero to School Program supports young children and their families while taking steps to build a “community of prevention.”
The StGCDC became the fiscal sponsor for the Zero to School Program in 2025. Zero to School is a community initiative aimed at ensuring all children enter kindergarten healthy, thriving and ready to learn. Funded by the John T. Gorman Foundation, the program involves a mobile team of specialists who are equipped to address a wide range of child and family needs – including a nurse practitioner, social worker, an early childhood interventionist, speech pathologist, and an occupational therapist.
