Molly Keller
Community Cupboard Coordinator
About
Molly serves as the Community Cupboard Coordinator at the St. George Community Development Corporation, bringing a diverse background in nonprofit services, youth advocacy, education, and community outreach. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College and has spent several years working throughout Midcoast Maine supporting young people and families through housing instability, resource navigation, education, and case management.
Before joining the StGCDC, Molly served as Lincoln County Youth & Family Care Coordinator with Homeworthy, where she extended the organization’s wrap-around support services to Lincoln County while evaluating community resources and identifying gaps in care. She previously held several positions at The Landing Place, Homeworthy’s youth-centered program, including Comprehensive Case Manager, supporting clients aged 15–22 with goals related to housing, finances, education, employment, and healthcare. Throughout her time there, she built partnerships with community organizations, developed training materials, and created resource guides to better connect clients with local supports. Her work consistently emphasizes collaboration, creative problem-solving, and relationship-building — values that align closely with the Community Cupboard program and the StGCDC.
Molly also has an extensive background in education. She worked as a middle school educator in Brooklyn, NY, and continues to privately tutor, helping students strengthen reading, writing, math, and executive functioning skills through personalized support. Across all of her roles, she has shown a deep commitment to treating people with dignity, building trust, and creating systems that help individuals feel supported and empowered.
What drew Molly to the StGCDC was discovering, through her work in Midcoast Maine, “a passionate network of creative individuals and programs” dedicated to uplifting local communities. In her role as Community Cupboard Coordinator, she supports and coordinates volunteers, strengthens outreach and communication, and helps expand programs like the Night Kitchen initiative — always looking for new ways to enhance the experience for everyone who comes through the doors.
If there’s anything Molly can do to improve your experience as a member of the community, she’d love to hear from you.
